If we agree that your project aligns with our capabilities, we will begin by evaluating your current status in your custom home or business project. This could entail working alongside a reputable real estate agent to pinpoint suitable land, setting a budget, or diving into the concept for your custom home or business.
Now that you’ve decided to partner with us to plan and construct your custom home or business, J&H Contractors will connect you with a highly skilled architect. As you collaborate with the architect, we’ll actively participate to ensure that your design aligns seamlessly with the budget objectives you’ve set. Our expertise will guide you in making sound design choices and selecting materials that guarantee your home or busness will be a source of true satisfaction.
After finalizing the design plans, we will meticulously craft a comprehensive Contract of Work. This document will provide a thorough breakdown of every aspect of your project, giving you a clear understanding of what to expect in every stage of the process.
After we provide you with the initial draft of the Contract of Work, we collaborate closely to refine the document until it aligns perfectly with your expectations. Following this, we will present you with the final contract. We promptly submit all necessary applications to the county, town, and state upon signing the contract. You can then proceed to the fourth phase once we receive confirmation that our permits have been approved.
Congratulations, the construction of your home or business is now underway. We will schedule regular on-site meetings to ensure transparent communication, establish clear expectations, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Using our hands-on approach, J&H Contractors will assemble a dedicated construction team for you, including a construction manager and project manager. Additionally, we provide detailed construction schedule updates, invoice updates, accommodate change orders if requested, manage selection approvals, and offer many other features. We will also take care of township inspections and ensure that all permits with the town remain up-to-date throughout the construction process.
Our commitment to clients extends beyond the completion of your new home. We’re here for you, whether it’s a quick check-in after you’ve settled in or assistance with significant issues. We’ll connect a few months after your move-in date to ensure everything functions perfectly.
